Three days ago, Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip dramatically escalated their attacks against Israel -- firing an anti-tank missile at an IDF jeep as well as launching barrages of rockets at Israeli civilians. Tuesday, November 13:
4:30 PM: A rocket fired from Gaza hits the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council.
6:00 AM: A rocket fired from Gaza hits southern Israel.
2:10 AM: In response to rocket fire from Gaza, the Israeli Air Force targeted a weapon storage facility in the central Gaza Strip, as well as two launching sites in the northern Gaza Strip.
Monday, November 12:
9:05 PM: A rocket fired from Gaza exploded in southern Israel minutes ago.
3:15 PM: A rocket fired from Gaza hits the southern Israeli town of Netivot.
12:30 PM: A total of 11 rockets have hit Israel so far today.
9:15 AM: The Iron Dome intercepts two rockets fired from Gaza into Israel.
8:00 AM: A rocket fired from Gaza directly hits a house in the southern Israeli town of Netivot.
Overnight: In response to rocket fire from Gaza, the Israel Air Force targeted a tunnel and a weapons storage facility in northern Gaza, as well as a rocket launching site in southern Gaza.
Sunday, November 11:
7:50 PM: A rocket fired from Gaza directly hits a house in the southern Israeli town of Sderot. More than 10 rockets have hit Israel in the past two hours.
5:45 PM: Since the last update, 8 rockets struck Israel.
3:00 PM: In the past hour and a half, 8 rockets struck Israel.
1:30 PM: In the past hour, 10 rockets fired from Gaza hit southern Israel.
12:30 PM: Two rockets fired from Gaza hit the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council.
10:30 AM: A rocket fired from Gaza hits the southern Israeli town of Sderot, home to more than 20,000 people.

Saturday, November 10:

9:20 PM: Iron Dome intercepts rocket fired toward a southern Israeli city; another rocket explodes nearby.
4:00 PM: Palestinian terrorists in Gaza fire an anti-tank missile at an IDF jeep conducting a routine patrol of the Gaza border fence, inside Israeli territory. Four IDF soldiers were wounded in the attack, two of them seriously. Shortly after the attack on the IDF jeep, the IDF responded with ground fire against Palestinian terrorist sites in the Gaza Strip.
In the past two weeks, there have been four separate attacks from Gaza.
Nov. 9: During routine IDF activity along the Gaza border fence, a tunnel filled with explosives was detonated, damaging a nearby IDF vehicle. The tunnel, which was uncovered only because an IDF vehicle drove over it, was 4 meters deep and larger than anything the IDF has seen recently in the area.
Nov. 8: Palestinian terrorists in Gaza opened fire at an IDF patrol along the Gaza Strip.
Nov. 6: An IDF soldier was moderately wounded and two others lightly wounded, after they were attacked while on a routine patrol of the Gaza border fence.
Oct 23: An IDF officer was severely wounded on a routine patrol of the Gaza border.
In addition, in the span of a few days last month, more than 70 rockets were fired into Israel from Gaza.
