We are happy to announce that after a long period of time in which exports from Gaza included agricultural goods such as strawbarries, tomatoes, peppers and flowers, Gaza farmers are now exporting spices.
The project was initiated by the Israeli Civic Leadership Association Gaza and coordinated with the Khan Younis Association and the Arava Export Growers as part of the continuous efforts to develop agriculture in the Gaza Strip.
Gazan Farmers were given tutorials on how to grow spices and seedlings were provided by Israel. Yesterday, the spices were finally exported through the Kerem Shalom Crossing and the spices are to be shipped to Europe for distribution.
