The "Tali" cargo ship, flying the flag of Togo, left the Lebanese port of Tripoli a few days ago. Despite repeated warnings from the Israel Navy, the cargo ship attempted to illegally enter Gazan waters today, 5 Feb. 2009.

Given the size of the ship, and the cargo capacity, the Tali was carrying very little humanitarian aid. Any humanitarian aid found on the ship will be transferred to Gaza via the humanitarian aid crossings from Israel.
